As a lead 3d artist on Gangstar NY, I had the opportunity to work on the game's sandbox along with out AD's (George Munteanu and Raluca Iosifescu) to create benchmark areas for the level of quality that we desired. Starting from these areas we could then propagate the rulesets on the rest of the level. The assets from these shots (buildings , props , textures ) were made by our 3d world team :
